Visit Pahang may collect account information, approximate or precise location when permission is granted, check-in activity, Community Picks content, saved items, device information and app diagnostics to provide and improve app features.

Information we may collect

This may include information you provide when creating or updating an account, content you upload, saved places, check-in activity, points and ranking activity, device information and diagnostic data.

Location information

Location access is used for nearby places and check-in verification. Location is accessed only when the relevant permission is granted. You may manage or withdraw location permission through your device settings.

How information is used

Information may be used to operate the app, verify eligible check-ins, calculate Explorer Points and rankings, display Community Picks, improve stability, prevent misuse and provide support.

Service providers

We do not sell personal information. Data may be processed by trusted service providers such as Firebase for authentication, database storage, file storage, notifications, analytics and app operation.

User content

Community Picks and other content you choose to share may be visible according to the privacy or audience setting selected for that content. Avoid sharing sensitive personal information publicly.

Data retention and account requests

Data may be retained for as long as reasonably required to operate the service, satisfy legal requirements, resolve disputes and prevent abuse. You may contact the Visit Pahang administrator to request assistance regarding your account or personal data.

Data & Cache Policy

The app stores temporary image and content files to improve loading speed. When Auto Clear Cache is enabled, temporary cache may be cleared automatically after it exceeds 230 MB. Clearing cache does not delete your account, profile, points, check-ins, saved items, vouchers or Community Picks data stored online.

Changes

This policy may be updated when app features, legal requirements or service providers change. The latest version will be displayed on this website or within the app.
